Policy on Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Welcome to our website (referred to as the ‘Site’). Respecting the intellectual property rights of others is important to us, just as we expect others to respect our rights. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512(c), a copyright owner or their representative can send us a takedown notice via our DMCA Agent (details listed below). As an internet service provider, we can claim immunity from infringement claims under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. To file a good faith infringement claim, you need to provide certain information as outlined below:

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed;
  3. Details of the infringing material to be removed and information to help locate it;
  4. Contact details of the complaining party such as name, address, email, phone number, and fax;
  5. A statement confirming the belief that the material’s use is unauthorized;
  6. A statement confirming the accuracy of the information provided and the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Under Title 17 USC §512(f), knowingly misrepresenting information in a copyright infringement notification can lead to civil penalties. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page, preferably via email.

Note that we may disclose the identity of the complaining party in a copyright infringement claim to the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you agree to this disclosure.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a notice of material takedown due to copyright infringement and wish to have it reinstated, you can provide a counter notification. This notification should be in writing, include specific elements outlined in 17 USC Section 512(g)(3), and be sent to our DMCA Agent.

  1. Your signature;
  2. Description of the removed material and its original location;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction.

Submit your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy on copyright infringement. In line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we track DMCA notices and make efforts to identify repeat offenders. Accounts of those who violate our policy will be terminated.

We retain the right to modify this page and its DMCA policy at any time and for any reason. We recommend checking back regularly for updates.
