‘Lost Familiarity’

It destroyed everything I knew

It destroyed everything I knew

It destroyed everything I knew

It all started with a phone call. One that changed the course of my life forever. The news delivered on the other end of the line was so devastating that it felt like the ground beneath me had crumbled away, leaving me lost and alone in a world that suddenly seemed so unfamiliar.

My world came crashing down in an instant. Everything I had known, everything I had built, was destroyed. The pain was immeasurable, the loss incomprehensible. It felt like I was standing in the middle of a war zone, surrounded by the wreckage of my past life.

But in the midst of the chaos and devastation, I found a glimmer of hope. A tiny spark of resilience that refused to be extinguished. I realized that as long as I had breath in my lungs, I had the power to rebuild. To start anew. To create something beautiful out of the ashes.

And so, I picked up the pieces of my shattered life and began to put them back together. Slowly, painstakingly, I built a new reality for myself. One that was stronger, more resilient, and more authentic than anything I had ever known before.

It destroyed everything I knew. But in the rubble, I found a strength I never knew I possessed. And for that, I am grateful.
